Our bagging systems for weighing and packaging bulk goods into pre-made bags, such as Doypacks, are individually designed for the respective application. As a rule, they consist of a feed hopper for loose bags and for discharge from big bags, a suitable conveyor system such as a Z‑bucket elevator or Z‑conveyor belt, a multihead weigher or linear weigher on a base frame or walk-on maintenance platform, a freely configurable linear packaging machine, a discharge conveyor, and a rotary table for collecting the finished packages. Control systems such as checkweighers or QR code checkers can be integrated as an option.

Working ranges of the packaging machines
The machines are designed for packaging weights of up to approx. 1,000 g as standard. With an optional heavy-weight support crossbeam, weights of up to 3,000 or 5,000 g are possible, depending on the model. Alternatively, bulk versions are available that are suitable for larger bags and sacks weighing up to 20 kg.

The product is fed into the packaging system via a vibrating conveyor—for example, as loose bagged goods or by direct discharge from a big bag.
The vibratory conveyor consists of a large-volume feed hopper (standard: 150 liters, special sizes available), from which the product is discharged in a controlled manner using a vibrating chute. The vibratory conveyor is connected directly to the bucket elevator or vertical conveyor and is switched on and off automatically in a synchronized manner. The vibration intensity can be conveniently adjusted using a rotary control to adapt the conveying capacity to the product properties. For bulky or sticky products, belt hoppers can be used as an alternative, which transfer the product to the downstream conveyor via a belt conveyor rather than a vibrating chute.
Optional features: The vibratory conveyors can be optionally equipped with a replaceable screen insert in the vibrating chute for screening out abrasion/gravel, and can be manufactured from 316 stainless steel with a smooth surface for free-flowing granulate or a knobbed surface (for slightly sticky products) instead of 304 stainless steel. We use bucket elevators to transport free-flowing products from the vibratory conveyor to the scale. Thanks to their vertical ascent, bucket elevators are the most space-saving conveyors and consume up to 45% less space than conventional vertical conveyors.
The conveyor bowls are made of food-safe polypropylene and are available in smooth (standard) or ribbed (for slightly sticky products) versions with capacities of 2, 4, or 7 liters. The housing and the components that come into contact with the product are made of stainless steel. The conveying speed can be continuously adjusted via a frequency converter to adapt the conveying capacity to the respective application.
The fact that the entire conveyor is enclosed in stainless steel reduces dust accumulation to a minimum, even during seasonal breaks or company holidays.
The elevators are always custom-designed, allowing their dimensions to be tailored to within a fraction of a millimeter. This makes it possible to use the elevators even in very confined spaces to ensure safe, automated product transport to the scale.
Alternatively, Z‑type elevators or S‑type conveyors with PU belts or modular PP belts can be used.
The multihead weigher is mounted on an accessible platform for easy cleaning and maintenance. The platforms are designed specifically for each system so that the dimensions can be adapted to the spatial conditions.
As standard, the load-bearing elements are made of 304 stainless steel, while the tear plate of the stair treads and the hygienic floor of the platform, as well as the railing, are made of aluminum. However, platforms made entirely of stainless steel are also available as an option—for example, for use in environments with caustic soda. On request, higher-grade alloys such as 316 stainless steel can also be used.
Our portfolio includes various models of multihead weighers for a wide range of applications: from robust and particularly inexpensive models for standard applications to high-precision multihead weighers with an accuracy of +/- 10 mg, to mixing weighers for the parallel dosing of several products into a mixture with different proportions, or even XXL weighers for particularly large-volume products.

We often use a collection container below the multihead weigher, which leads to higher speed of the entire system thanks to timing optimization. In combination with a Y‑distribution funnel, incorrect weights can be automatically ejected, while correct weights are reliably transferred to the packaging machine.
The second outlet acts as a bypass, through which not only excess weight but also product residues can be removed from the system during emptying with the help of the right-left opening collection flap.
Our servo-controlled, linear packaging machines for pre-made bags combine maximum flexibility with ease of use. The linear design makes the system particularly easy to access, which greatly simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
The bags are placed in a bag magazine, removed individually by the machine, and then transported from station to station, where different processes take place. The stations can be freely selected, as each machine is individually configured for the respective application. For example, several filling stations (also for powder or dry bags and measuring spoons), zipper openers, zipper closers, an inflation station for unfolding stand-up bottoms, an integrated checkweigher, gas flushing with protective gas (e.g., nitrogen), or even a station for punching Euro holes can be integrated. The installation of labelers and printers is also possible.
The machines are suitable for packaging lumpy products, granules, powders, or liquids and can handle standard weights of up to 1 kg (optionally 3–5 kg); robust versions for up to 20 kg are available for larger requirements.
The Teflon sealing jaws and freely adjustable sealing temperatures allow almost all sealable bag materials to be processed.
The machine achieves a throughput of up to 20 bags per minute (depending on the product) and can be adjusted to new bag sizes in seconds without technical expertise thanks to automatic format adjustment. This makes the machines the ideal solution for your application—whether for series production or frequently changing products and bag formats.
After the bags have been sealed, the packages are released from the packaging machine via a discharge chute. They are then transported by a discharge conveyor to a comfortable working height for further processing. There is a choice of different conveyor types and conveyor belts, which we select depending on the application.
To compensate for speed differences between the packaging machine and the repackaging of finished packs into cartons, we use turntables that deliver the products at an ergonomic working height and perform an important buffering function.
This makes it possible that the entire system can be operated by just one person !

For filling powder, we offer solutions with precise screw dosing, while for capsules and other small parts packaged by number, we use capsule counting machines.
By the way: Since the machines can be individually configured and equipped with multiple filling stations, you can also use the packaging machines as combination machines for powders and granules, enabling you to produce e. g. baking mixes consisting of powdered products such as flour mixes as well as granules such as grains and nuts!
